created in Toronto in 2007 with very specific
mandates and purposes:

American and Hispanic theatre and its
writers - To create opportunities for emerging
actors in Canada including artistic
members of minority groups - To combine aspects of Hispanic
theater with existing elements of
Canadian multicultural society

NewTeatro Theater Company is
working towards establishing itself a
company that provides a new innovative,
and multi-cultural theatre experience in
Toronto. In gathering performers and artist
from different backgrounds and
experiences, we continue too strive to fulfill
our purpose, and to stand out as a unique
and diverse company that is making a
significant contribution to Toronto's cultural
